EuroGOOS member Hereon together with the EuroGOOS FerryBox Task Team and the EU Jerico-S3 project, is organizing a joint series of meetings at the Hereon’s facilities in Germany. The events are held in partnership with NIVA, SMHI, Ifremer, and the EU EuroSea project.
- 26-27 September 2022, meeting of the North Sea & English Channel PSS and Norwegian Sea & KASKEN IRS will take place.
The meeting will discuss the following priorities of Jerico-RI: plankton biology, carbon cycle, physical observations, integration of data and models, international integration & societal relevance, and future perspectives (PSS, IRS, UN Ocean Decade).
- On 28-29 September 2022, the EuroGOOS FerryBox Task Team will hold its 11th Workshop.
The meeting will discuss the following topics: biological oceanography, carbonate system, contaminants, ecosystem dynamics & assessment, data management & applications, and novel instruments & techniques.
