The Mediterranean Operational Network for the Global Ocean Observing System (MONGOOS), acting as a EuroGOOS regional network, is organizing a workshop back to back with their annual meeting (agenda). The objectives of the workshop include:
- Review the existing capacities in Med circulation modelling;
- Evaluate the down-scalling strategies;
- Discuss the latest developments in (sub)mesoscale structures, convection, ocean-waves-atmosphere interactions, and straits dynamics; and
- Progress biochemical and environmental modelling.
