On the 12-13th December, the @Sea Network will hold its first in-person meeting to launch the network. The meeting will be held at The University of Cape Town, South Africa.
The aim of the @Sea Network Meeting is to bring together the founding members to share information about training at sea operations in the Atlantic regions as well as to discuss and develop capacity building networks.
Currently, multiple training at sea programs exists in the Atlantic run by different types of organizations (be it universities, research vessel operators, state-run bodies to name but a few). Invited guests will present their training at sea programs and will be invited to discuss a future road map for the @Sea Network.
