2016 marks a turning point for the Group on Earth Observation ( GEO ) with the launch of the new Strategic Plan implementing the Global Earth Observations System of Systems ( GEOSS ). In its 10th edition, the GEO European Projects Workshop 2016 will present and discuss European initiatives contributing to GEOSS.
EuroGOOS Chair, Erik Buch, will deliver a talk on the observing system design and the European efforts towards building an integrated European Ocean Observing System ( EOOS ), during the breakout session ‘Towards an integrated Ocean Observing System’ on 31 May.
