FORCOAST General Assembly

10/02/2021 - 12/02/2021

The FORCOAST project is holding its General Assembly on 10-12 February as a virtual event. The Assembly will focus on the project’s progress including thorough user-co-design activities and business exploitation propositions.

FORCOAST, subtitled, Earth Observation services for Wild Fisheries, Oystergrounds Restoration and Bivalve Mariculture along European Coasts, is an EU-funded project. It involves public and private sectors to improve the business uptake of the Copernicus Earth Observation services for fisheries and mariculture. The project will develop, test, and demonstrate innovative services based on satellite information from the Copernicus Marine, Land, and Climate Services, local in-situ information, and advanced numerical modelling.

EuroGOOS is co-leading the work package on communication and marketing in this project which stemmed out from the activities of our Coastal Working Group.

Further information is available on the FORCOAST website and Twitter account.
