Every year the European Commission is bringing together the marine and maritime community to a destination in Europe for the European Maritime Day conference. This event, hosted by the local organizers, is a major science-policy dialogue. At the EMD 2023, EuroGOOS is co-organising and will be presented at two workshops:
- “Benefiting from Maritime Data to Drive Marine Innovation” on 24 May (EMD Workshop 12), 16:15-17:30 CEST;
- “Sustainable ocean observation, from open sea to coast: shared responsibilities” on 25 May (EMD Workshop 23), 14:30-15:45 CEST – details here.
EuroGOOS will also have an exhibition stand at the conference. In addition, EuroGOOS will be supporting the stands of the projects we are contributing to as partners, in particular, EuroSea and DOORS.
