EMD is the annual EU meeting point on maritime affairs and blue growth. It targets maritime professionals, entrepreneurs and ocean leaders. EMD 2019 will focus on blue entrepreneurship, innovation and investment. The event will include plenary and panel sessions, an exhibition and stakeholder workshops.
EuroGOOS will have an interactive exhibition stand at the event, showcasing the European Ocean Observing efforts and coordination mechanisms. The Portuguese version of the EuroGOOS ocean literacy book ‘The Ocean Is My Home’ will be launched at the event.
