Copernicus Marine Service (CMEMS) will hold a series of events in Brussels to take stock of the service achievements and engage with its current and potential new users. The Copernicus Marine Week will create a stakeholder forum to engage in an open dialogue among policymakers, industry and entrepreneurs, regional and local authorities, public services and scientists working in the marine environment.
The EU Copernicus Marine Service offers free and open information on the physical and biogeochemical state of the global ocean and the six regional European seas. These data and monitoring indicators are scientifically qualified and regularly updated. The Copernicus Marine Service catalogue offers data products derived from satellite and in-water observations, forecasts, real-time analyses and long-time series over several decades in the past.
EuroGOOS will be represented throughout the week, with Erik Buch, Glenn Nolan, and Vicente Fernandez acting as chairs, co-chairs, and speakers.
