JCOMM, the Joint Technical Commission for Oceanography and Marine Meteorology, is an intergovernmental body of technical experts. JCOMM promotes international coordination of oceanographic and marine meteorological observing, data management and services, combining the expertise, technologies and capacity building capabilities of the meteorological and oceanographic communities.
The 7th session of the JCOMM Observations Coordination Group will be held overlapping with the 19th session of the Ocean Observations Panel for Climate.
EuroGOOS Secretary General Glenn Nolan will deliver a talk on the GOOS Regional Alliances efforts in the coastal observing coordination.
