1st online workshop on the establishment of an Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASV) Network

Date
05/10/2021 - 06/10/2021

On 5-6 October 2021, an online workshop will take place to advance the development of an Autonomous Surface Vehicles network. Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASVs) are unmanned platforms able to conduct a wide range of ocean-observing applications, that already engages a wide community of developers, manufacturers, operators and end-users, although it is not yet recognised at European (EuroGOOS) or global level under the term “Network”.

EuroSea aims to establish an international and multidisciplinary ASV-Network for a better coordination on innovation development, services and Best Practices (BP). This will improve ASV technologies at operational, data management and policy level, and will enhance the use of ASV data improving ocean observing products, their implementation and dissemination through existing EU data infrastructures.

Detailed information about the workshop are available here and registration is open here.
