1st Ocean Decade Laboratory: An Inspiring and Engaging Ocean

The first Ocean Decade Laboratory on the Ocean Decade Outcome “An Inspiring and Engaging Ocean” is taking place as a virtual event providing a platform for diverse stakeholders and encouraging collaborative actions. It will explore how we can positively influence behavior change and support action.

Hosted by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research in partnership with IOC-UNESCO, the Laboratory will be complemented by a diverse range of international Satellite Activities. The EuroGOOS Ocean Literacy Network is organizing an activity to discuss the role of scientists as ocean literacy advocates and the societal engagement activities in the EuroGOOS member organizations.
