Deadline Extended – Call for Abstracts 11th EuroGOOS International Conference

The deadline for the Call for Abstracts for the 11th EuroGOOS International Conference has been extended. If you plan to contribute, you can still submit until 27 November 2025 (23:59 CET).

Held every three years, the EuroGOOS Conference brings together our community of marine scientists, technologists, policymakers, and users of ocean services to discuss how ocean observing and forecasting can best support societal, environmental, and policy needs.

The 2026 edition will focus on five key priorities:

  1. Innovation in Observations, Modelling, and Forecasting
  2. Digital Transformation, Integration, and Data Quality
  3. Co-Design, Engagement, and Inclusivity
  4. Governance and Capacity for Ocean Knowledge
  5. Monitoring and Understanding the Triple Planetary Crisis and Addressing Societal Needs

The Conference in Larnaca will take place back-to-back with European Maritime Day in Limassol (21–22 May). Complimentary shuttle buses will be available for participants attending both events. Together, these gatherings will make the week an important moment for everyone engaged in ocean knowledge and policy.

We warmly encourage you to submit your abstract and share this reminder with your networks.
