EuroGOOS vice-Chair Alessandro Crise from OGS (Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale), leader of SP5 “Observing system” within the Italian RITMARE Project, is pleased to announce the RITMARE SP5 “Observing system” meeting to be held back-to-back with the 7th EuroGOOS conference in Lisbon.
Date: 30-31 October 2014
– October 30, afternoon (2 pm – 6 pm): Open session (in English) dedicated to the main scientific and technological results achieved in the Project.
– October 31, morning (9 am – 1 pm): Closed session (only for SP5 partners) dedicated to discussion on TAC (progresses and future developments).
The meeting will be held at the premises of the Hydrographic Institute of Portugal.
The meeting will represent an important occasion to give visibility to the RITMARE-SP5 activities with specific reference to the Italian observing system as part of the future European OS.
