The EGU General Assembly 2021 will take place virtually from 19 to 30 April. The meeting provides an interactive and c forum where researchers of all career stages can network, share ideas, and present their latest work in all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. Broad topics of discussion will include geosciences and health in the COVID-19 era; the role of geosciences in the UN Sustainable Development Goals; Earth system stability, thresholds and resilience; as well as robotics and artificial intelligence in the Earth, Planetary and Space Sciences. The event will feature 700 scientific sessions, 60 short courses, 50 medals and awards lectures, 35 inter-and transdisciplinary sessions, multiple networking events, as well as a virtual exhibition.
