This is the first meeting of the Expert Team on the evolution of World Meteorological Organization’s (WMO) Information System (WIS), TT-eWIS. This meeting will give an introduction to WIS 2.0 and the evolution of WIS, make a review of contemporary data sharing systems (Copernicus, EMODnet, ECMWF, GEO / GEOSS, ODIS and others), develop use cases clarifying how users and data publishers can interact on WIS, the role of WIS Centres in WIS 2.0, and produce a WIS 2.0 implementation plan. Patrick Gorringe will represent EuroGOOS at this meeting.
