The Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) Regional Alliances Forum will bring together the GOOS regions to discuss progress and further integration. EuroGOOS, the European region of GOOS, will be represented by Erik Buch, EuroGOOS chair and vice-chair of the GOOS Regional Alliances Forum, and Glenn Nolan, EuroGOOS Secretary General.
GOOS Regional Alliances will exchange on major highlights and challenges since the last GRA Forum 2015 in Heraklion. The Singaporean hosts will also inform the meeting about their priorities and capabilities. Vladimir Ryabinin, Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC-UNESCO), will update the GRAs about the current status of GOOS and its strategy and discuss way forward.
