The final DEVOTES Conference is open to any interested person in the following topics: Marine Strategy Framework Directive, marine monitoring, management measures, marine biodiversity assessment, cost-effectiveness, marine ecosystem services, implementation.
DEVOTES is a collaborative EU project running from 2012 to 2016, aiming to better understand the relationships between pressures from human activities and climatic influences and their effects on marine ecosystems, including biological diversity. This will to support the ecosystem based management and fully achieve the Good Environmental Status (GES) of marine waters.
