2016 marks a turning point for the Group on Earth Observation (GEO) with the launch of the new Strategic Plan implementing the Global Earth Observations System of Systems (GEOSS). In its 10th edition, the GEO European Projects Workshop 2016 will present and discuss European initiatives contributing to GEOSS.
EuroGOOS Chair, Erik Buch, will deliver a talk on the observing system design and the European efforts towards building an integrated European Ocean Observing System (EOOS), during the breakout session ‘Towards an integrated Ocean Observing System’ on 31 May.
