EuroGOOS will be active at the Oceanology International events in London taking place from 15 to 17 March. Oceanology International is a unique forum for ocean technology and R&D professionals.
Glenn Nolan, EuroGOOS Secretary General, will give a short introductory overview at the international conference taking place on 15 March during Oceanology International. Titled ‘Marine Technology and Services Role in the Blue Economy’, the conference is co-chaired by Glenn’s counterparts from two other GOOS Regional Alliances, Tim Moltmann of IMOS (Integrated Marine Observing System, Australia) and Zdenka Willis of IOOS (Integrated Ocean Observing System, USA).
Later that day, Glenn Nolan will give a talk on Open Data Access and Oceanographic Products and Services for Maritime Users, at the ‘Open Ocean & Coastal Observatories Workshop – Innovation Meets Industry‘.
Vicente Fernandez, EuroGOOS Science Officer, will participate in the UK MetOffice event ‘Harnessing the role of science to support the oil and gas industry across their global supply chain’ on Wednesday 16 March.
JERICO-Next project will host its meeting back to back with Oceanology International, and Patrick Gorringe, EuroGOOS Senior Operations Officer and JERICO-Next work package leader on data management, will take part.
Furthermore, EuroGOOS office will meet with industrial partners during other networking and side events and the OI exhibition, where we will promote the following materials:
