The AtlantOS project will hold its work package 1 meeting at the ICES offices. WP1 titled Observing system requirements and design studies, is co-led by UNESCO’s IOC and EuroGOOS. The main objective of this work package is to define high-level requirements for an Integrated Atlantic Ocean Observing System, analyse the existing systems and their gaps, costs and planned upgrades, and carry out system design studies.
