On 13 January, at 18:00-20:15 (CET) it will take place the first sustainability panel debate of Malizia Sustainability Programme for The Ocean Race departure in Alicante, which can be followed LIVESTREAM here. They will discuss with the panelists above the relevance and the value of ocean data and how it is processed by scientists.

During the entire Ocean Race the Malizia-Seaexplorer will carry a micro lab onboard, called Ocean Pack, which constantly measures the Co2 concentration, temperature and salinity of the seawater. All of this data indicates Ocean Health and the impact of Climate Change. They will discuss on the panel why and how ocean health and climate change is intertwined with each other, what they can learn from the measured data and where data can help to implementing concrete Climate Action and even can help businesses to grow.
