The BOOS General Assembly will take place on 24-26 November 2021, as a virtual event. The event is expected to include the BOOS Modelling Program and Observation meeting (24 November), the BOOS Scientific Workshop (25 November), and the BOOS Business Meeting (26 November).
The BOOS Modelling Program and Observation meeting will feature two parallel sessions: the BMP session (Chaired by Thorger Bruning) and the Observation WG session (Chaired by Laura Tuomi). The meeting will address topical issues in the BOOS modelling program and in the BOOS working groups. The Scientific Workshop aims to cover a diversity of topics related to monitoring, observation systems, modelling, forecasting and service products. Finally, the BOOS Business Meeting will start with a summary of the first day’s Program and project meeting, and will continue with a briefing of the members’ national progress report and BOOS cooperation, BOOS integration as well as BOOS vision and strategy.
