The European Commission ENVRI Plus project aims to provide common solutions to shared challenges for European Environmental and Earth System Research Infrastructures in their efforts to deliver services for science and society. The project brings together existing infrustructure networks and projects together with technical specialist partners to create a more coherent, interdisciplinary and interoperable cluster of environmental research infrastructures across Europe. The 4th ENVRI week will bring together project partners from 22 organizations or projects related to European environmental research infrastructures. The event will take place in Grenoble, France.
On 18 and 19 May, the ENVRI community of the European environmental research infrastructures and networks will meet with private industry partners to explore opportunities for joint innovation projects. ENVRI research infrastructures serve more than 10,000 users providing unique information on the state of air, ocean and land ecosystems. The ENVRI European Innovation Partnering Forum will run for 1,5 day and include four sessions on technological innovation, metrology and standards, and public-private partnership. New products and technologies will also be presented at an exhibition.
