Copernicus Marine Service Workshop on User Uptake and Service Evolution

Date
07/09/2015 - 08/09/2015

This workshop will present initial service evolution and user uptake of the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS). Feedback and uptake will be collected from a wide range of CMEMS stakeholders spanning marine research and user communities. The related open tenders processes will be also presented.

Two major elements will foster CMEMS development: (i) Service Evolution addressing the scientific and technological progress of the service, and (ii) User Uptake addressing downstream services. Activities are designed to provide dynamic interactions with the upstream (research and development) and downstream (users) marine communities and their stakeholders.

The workshop is open to the European marine research and user communities (from the scientific, public and private sectors) and main CMEMS stakeholders that are willing to contribute or have an interest in the development of a state-of-the-art user driven CMEMS.
