The UN Decade of Ocean Science has launched its Call for Decade Actions No. 08/2024, inviting initiatives focused on coastal resilience, society’s relationship with the ocean, and the ocean-human health nexus.
Following its Vision 2030 roadmap, the Ocean Decade is building on the outcomes of its 2024 Ocean Decade Conference. It seeks programs to enhance community resilience, foster transdisciplinary ocean research, and explore ocean-health links. Proposals can address various Ocean Decade challenges, and contributions of resources are encouraged to support global marine sustainability.
