European Marine Board Brown Bag Lunch: Biomolecular Approaches to Observe and Manage Marine Life

The European Marine Board (EMB) invites interested stakeholders to its upcoming Brown Bag Lunch on “Biomolecular Approaches to Observe and Manage Marine Life”, taking place on 18 November 2026 in Brussels.

This lunchtime policy debate will mark the launch of EMB Future Science Brief No. 14, entitled “Biomolecular Approaches for the Observation and Management of Marine Life”.

The event will feature a presentation of the publication, followed by responses from representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) and Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE). An open discussion will provide an opportunity for participants to exchange views on the role of biomolecular approaches in marine observation and management.
