11th EuroGOOS International Conference Proceedings

EuroGOOS is pleased to announce the publication of the Proceedings of the 11th EuroGOOS International Conference, held from 18 to 20 May 2026 in Larnaca, Cyprus, under the theme Stronger Together.

Hosted by the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI), in collaboration with UCLan Cyprus, the conference brought together scientists, policymakers, industry representatives and stakeholders from across the ocean observing and operational oceanography community.

The Proceedings bring together scientific contributions presented during the conference, reflecting advances, challenges and emerging opportunities across five key areas: innovation in ocean observations, modelling and forecasting; digital transformation and data quality; co-design and stakeholder engagement; governance and capacity development; and addressing the triple planetary crisis.

The publication provides a valuable resource for the European and international ocean community, showcasing research and collaborative efforts to strengthen ocean observing and forecasting capabilities in support of scientific, societal and policy needs.

EuroGOOS thanks all contributing authors, reviewers and organisers for their efforts in bringing together the conference contributions.
