We are pleased to share an update from MonGOOS. The deadline for abstract submissions to the upcoming MonGOOS Workshop “Mediterranean Sea Multiscale Variability: Knowledge, Impacts, and Road Ahead” has been extended to 31 October 2025.
Workshop dates: 3–4 December 2025
Location: Lisbon, Portugal (hosted by +ATLANTIC CoLAB)
This will be the first time the MonGOOS workshop takes place in Portugal, a symbolic gateway to the Mediterranean region, marking an exciting milestone for the community.
A Coastal Working Group Workshop will take place during this event, and a training session on the EDITO platform, the core infrastructure of the European Digital Twin Ocean, will also be offered to participants.
The MonGOOS General Assembly will be held just before the workshop, on 2 December 2025.
