EuroGOOS at European Maritime Day 2026: Connecting Ocean Observing and the Blue Economy

21 May 2026

The European Maritime Day 2026 (EMD2026) has officially started in Limassol.

At the EuroGOOS exhibition booth, three sister projects, BioEcoOcean, ObsSea4Clim, and BioGeoSea, are coming together to showcase their shared efforts in advancing ocean observing systems and strengthening the development of Essential Ocean Variables (EOVs).

The exhibition provides an important platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation across the ocean observing community. EuroGOOS is proud to coordinate the booth and support exchanges that contribute to a more resilient and sustainable ocean future.
