EMODnet Biology and Seabed Habitats: New Call for Tenders
3 September 2026
The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) has opened a new call for tenders supporting the European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet), with a total budget of €3.92 million and an indicative deadline of 23 October 2026.
The call covers two areas:
- EMODnet Biology – providing open and interoperable data on marine species, their distribution, and traits across European seas.
- EMODnet Seabed Habitats – providing access to seabed habitat data, maps, and observations across Europe.
The opportunity aims to strengthen access to high-quality marine data and support research, environmental management, and the sustainable use of Europe’s seas.
Further information on the call, including the full documentation and requirements, can be found on the official CINEA website.
