DITTO Summit 2026 Opens Abstract Submission

The Digital Twins of the Ocean (DITTO) programme has officially opened abstract submissions for the DITTO Summit 2026, the flagship international event of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
The Summit will take place from 11–13 November 2026 at Workpia Yokohama, Japan, bringing together scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, technology developers, and innovators working at the forefront of digital twin technologies for the ocean and beyond.
Under the theme "Building Ocean Intelligence Together", DITTO Summit 2026 will focus on operational, interoperable, and user-driven digital twins that integrate observations, modelling, artificial intelligence, and advanced digital technologies to support ocean protection, climate resilience, sustainable governance, and the blue economy.
Participants are invited to contribute research, technological developments, operational applications, and policy perspectives across a wide range of topics, including:
- Data, observation, and modelling systems
- Digital infrastructure and interoperability
- Artificial intelligence and automation
- Cross-sector digital twin applications
- Operational and industrial deployment
- Integrated Earth-to-society systems
