IBI ROOS Annual Meeting

The IBIROOS Annual Meeting 2026 will take place in A Coruña, Spain, bringing together members of the Iberia-Biscay-Ireland Regional Operational Oceanographic System (IBIROOS).

The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss strategic priorities, strengthen collaboration across the region, and exchange experiences in regional operational oceanography. The programme will include thematic sessions on ocean observing and monitoring, data management and emerging technologies, as well as discussions on policy developments, and national coordination activities. Particular attention will be given to fostering participation and engagement from early-career scientists.

The meeting will also serve as a forum for reviewing ongoing activities, identifying future priorities, and strengthening cooperation within the IBIROOS community.
