GEORGE webinar series: “Marine Research Infrastructure data practices – from data collection to access”

Date: 4 June 2026

Type: Virtual

We are pleased to share an upcoming webinar organised by the EU Horizon Europe GEORGE project, focusing on Euro-Argo data practices. The webinar will take place on 4 June 2026, from 14:00 to 16:30 CEST, and represents the final session in the GEORGE webinar series dedicated to marine Research Infrastructure (RI) data workflows.

This session will provide participants with an overview of how data within the Euro-Argo ERIC framework is collected, processed, stored, and made accessible. It offers a valuable opportunity to learn more about the operational and technical practices that support one of Europe's key ocean observing infrastructures.

The GEORGE webinar series aims to strengthen understanding and collaboration among researchers, technicians, data managers, and stakeholders by showcasing the data practices of the marine Research Infrastructures involved in the project. Previous sessions in the series have been recorded and will be made available online soon.

We encourage members of the marine and environmental research community, as well as stakeholders interested in ocean data management and accessibility, to participate.
