Blue Impact Lab

The Blue Impact Lab is a 1.5-day hands-on science communication workshop taking place at VLIZ (Flanders Marine Institute). Designed for researchers, project managers, coordinators, and practitioners, the workshop will help participants communicate scientific knowledge and project outcomes more effectively to policymakers, industry, and other stakeholders.

Participants will work on a real communication challenge of their own, developing audience-focused messages, formats, and engagement strategies in small peer-learning groups. The workshop places a strong emphasis on practical application, intergenerational exchange, and community building, and is open to both early-career and experienced professionals.
