The Arctic Circle Assembly 2026 will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland, bringing together policymakers, researchers, Indigenous representatives, businesses, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders from across the Arctic and beyond.
Held annually, the Assembly provides a platform for dialogue on key issues shaping the future of the Arctic, including climate change, sustainable development, science, governance, innovation, investment, and international cooperation. Participants from more than 70 countries are expected to take part in plenary sessions, panel discussions, roundtables, and networking events.
The 2026 programme will also feature the Arctic Circle Polar Dialogue and the Arctic Circle Business Forum, fostering exchanges between science, policy, Indigenous organisations, and industry on challenges and opportunities facing the Arctic region.
