The 25th Global Meeting of the Regional Seas Conventions and Action Plans (RSCAPs) will take place in London, United Kingdom, and will be organised by UNEP in collaboration with the Government of the United Kingdom.
The meeting will bring together Regional Seas Coordinators and Executive Secretaries to review progress on the implementation of the Regional Seas Strategic Direction 2026-2029 and discuss priorities for the years ahead. Discussions will cover ocean governance, partnerships, communication, and science-based approaches to protecting and sustainably managing marine and coastal environments.
The Regional Seas Programme supports cooperation between countries sharing a common marine area to address environmental degradation and promote the sustainable use of ocean and coastal resources.
