Overview

The overarching goal of ObsSea4Clim is to deliver an improved framework for nations’ contributions to European ocean observations of EOV/ECVs (Essential Ocean Variables/Essential Climate Variables) in support of regional and global climate assessments, projections and actionable indicators for sustainable development.

Our Role

EuroGOOS contributes to the ObsSea4Clim project by co-leading efforts to maximise impact and promote multidisciplinary ocean observing in Europe. EuroGOOS leads clustering events and policy briefings that connect science with decision-making. EuroGOOS also supports communication and dissemination activities to ensure broad visibility and uptake of project outcomes. Through these actions, EuroGOOS strengthens collaboration across the European ocean observing community and advances climate-related assessments.
