The Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) has published a new brief, “Key recommendations to expand ocean observing and fill critical gaps in the Global Ocean Observing System”, highlighting priority gaps in ocean observations and supporting efforts to strengthen the global observing system.

A significant step forward for OceanEye and the global ocean observing community has been announced as part of the European Commission’s latest amendment to the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026–2027.
